These beautiful porcelain bowls have a smooth white glaze on the inside but on the outside they have a special glaze that I have created.  The glaze is a natural ash glaze but it is made only from the ash from windblown willow branches.  The branches are collected after stormy weather and allowed to season before burning.

Each bowl is slightly different as they are carefully hand thrown in porcelain.  The glaze also reacts differently every time.  They measure 7 x 12cm.
